Curbar Edge Photoshoot

Rosie and Griff were married just before Christmas 2017 in Rosie’s hometown of Matlock. They did not get much opportunity for outside pictures with it being winter and so decided to do a post wedding shoot earlier this year. The amazing Magda was the photographer for the shoot and she chose breathtaking Curbar Edge (on a rather windy day!) in the Peak District for the shoot location. Rosie and Griff were great sports and braved the elements to get the most amazing shots.

Rosie chose to have a bespoke wedding dress designed for her December wedding and I paired a heavy guipure lace with layers of soft tulle for a gorgeous winter dress that she would feel herself in. The dress was paired with a long soft tulle veil to compliment her gown. I also created bespoke tartan waistcoats for the groom and his ushers in Griffs family tartan, such a lovely personal touch. You can read more about their wedding over on my brides page.

For the shoot Marianne from Frances & Rose created a beautiful bouquet, flower crown and buttonhole with blooms grown at her Derbyshire plot. They looked stunning with their outfits and the colours worked incredibly against the setting. Rosie wore her hair loosely down with a touch of classic red lipstick and her amazing floral dr Marten boots, perfect for clambering around the tops in her dress.
